. What is Laxmi Pooja?

In revered Hindu beliefs, Laxmi Pooja is dedicated to Goddess Laxmi - the goddess of riches, wealth, prosperity and affluence. This pooja is primarily performed in the months of October or November during Diwali or the festival of lights in India. In the upcoming year 2024, Laxmi Pooja is set to occur on November 11th. This special occasion is in reference to when deity Lord Rama triumphed over Ravana and is welcomed back to Ayodhya. During this occasion, people performed various rituals including lighting gently flickering diyas to welcome Laxmi into their household.                                                                                                                                                                                        Significance of Laxmi Pooja

  1. Preparing the Pooja Area

Find an appropriate location to perform the pooja, which should be clean and quiet.

Pooja Setup:

In the middle, place a picture or statue of Goddess Laxmi.
